Despite still being injured and unable to compete with her team, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark continues to do things that keep her on the WNBA's radar. A clear example of this is the story she posted on Instagram about Pacers assistant Jenny Boucek.
The Indianapolis star comes from a family that has excelled in sports, a factor the Fever's foundation leverages to influence those who have gone through the same situation as her, as Boucek is the only NBA professional who is a mother.
What did Caitlin Clark post about Jenny Boucek?
In Clark's latest Instagram story, she ed a collage from @nbaonespn. It was a heartwarming compilation of images of the assistant coach, one of them even featuring her daughter Rylie. She captioned it: "NBA Finals is a family affair for coach Jenny Bueck (heart emoji)." And Caitlin's boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, was not far behind in showing the same gesture: he also reposted it.
Clark has dominated since she stepped onto the court. With a grandfather who was a Hall of Fame football coach and a father who starred in both baseball and basketball at the college level, she has lived up to all the expectations that come with her elite background.
When will Caitlin Clark play in the WNBA again?
It's important to that last Monday, Indiana coach Stephanie White announced that Caitlin Clark would miss her fifth consecutive game due to a strained left quadriceps. White said before Tuesday night's game that Clark participated in "a small workout" on Monday, adding that it was in a "controlled environment."
White said Clark, who was with the team and watching from the Indiana bench, would participate in more workouts this week. "The most important thing for us is not to risk any setbacks," White said.
