Thanks to this, we have already been able to see the first images of the consoles, as well as different tests and comparisons. One of the things that has caught the attention of many people is the performance and, more specifically, the operation of the eShop.

As many of you will know, one of the great flaws of the original Nintendo Switch was the slowness of the eShop. Its performance was far from reaching its full potential and it was a problem. For years we have suffered with a store that was simply too slow.

As they indicated in the presentation of the same, Nintendo had set out to fix this defect with its new console... and they have succeeded.

Taking a look at different videos from content creators and insiders, we can see that, indeed, Nintendo Switch 2's eShop is fast.

Scrolling is much faster and lighter, making navigation infinitely more comfortable. Without a doubt, it is a novelty that we could categorize as "minor", but long awaited.

So we can say that with the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, one of the most annoying elements and one of the worst functioning elements of its predecessor has been eliminated.

Of course, it's not the only or the most striking of its improvements, but it's still a curious issue. Especially since it seems that Nintendo has put a lot of emphasis on this issue.
