Better late than never. PlayStation has finally confirmed that it is working on one of the most requested PS5 updates from the community for years. And although, in reality, the novelty that this new update will bring is a trifle, it is something that will make life much more comfortable.
After a very long wait, Sony has revealed that it is working on a patch that will allow us to pair our DualSense on more than one device at a time. What does this mean? Well, if you regularly use your controller wirelessly on PC and PS5, you won't have to sync it again every time you switch platforms.
According to their official X , formerly Twitter, this update is planned "for the end of the year" and will improve the pairing function as we know it. We don't know how extensive it will be or how many devices we will be able to pair at once, but it should make our lives a little more comfortable.
PS5 updates its DualSense with a patch for our convenience
Although it may seem silly, we must that DualSense is one of the most popular controllers in the world. The PlayStation community is quite large and there are many s who use the PS5 controller on other platforms, especially now that many of its games are coming to PC.
This is precisely why having to pair the controller with a platform continuously, because when you pair it with one, most of the time it becomes unsynchronized with the other, is a hassle. Not having to do it again is convenient.
Of course, it's a minor update. We can't say that it changes the way we enjoy video games or that it marks a before and after. It's a simple update that will make life a little bit more comfortable, as I have already said.
