Although the waters are calmer and that third trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI is not being as eagerly awaited as the second --thanks, among other things, to the fact that we already have a release date--, Rockstar's sandbox is still riding the crest of the wave. So much so that any possible leak leaves the community on tenterhooks, especially when it comes to a video. The most recent one we have been able to access comes from the GTA 6 Countdown and shows us a mechanic that would have been removed from the final version of GTA VI.
After the second trailer, it's the most realistic unofficial video footage we've seen to date. While it's far from being confirmed, this one we can believe, unlike many others that have come out before. And that's what saddens us the most.
As we can see in the video, Rockstar has been working on a mechanic to crawl on the ground, thus enhancing the stealth factor of its new video game. However, it must be confessed that the comments on X that claim it looks bad are quite realistic.
Grand Theft Auto VI would have removed a stealth mechanic and it would have been leaked
If it is a real leak, the truth is that the animation is not very good. The movements are quite clumsy, which would make sense if it is a discarded mechanic from a previous phase of Grand Theft Auto VI.
However, not a few s of the social network have agreed that it could be fun to have a similar mechanic in GTA VI. Although it should never be a core part of the gameplay - because we all prefer the game to go more to the sack - having this option would not be bad at all.
Adding an additional stealth component to the game would make sense, given Jason's military background or Lucia's training, especially fitting with the former, based on what we know (officially) to date.
